Documentary Subjects
This is Ivor Niggebrugge a very close friend of mine. He is quite the character and the type of person that someone can learn a lot from. He was in the Vietnam War so Im sure someone could imagine the kind of stories that he could tell, he would be the perfect person to create a documentary over.
Chad Schmucker is the name and pharmacy is his game. Chad is the type of person that has been through everything at least once. I mean relationship wise, so it would be beneficial to take wisdom from his about relationships. He is also a very outgoing person so it would be easy to make a documentary about him.
This is Brandon Woods, he grew up on a rougher side of life. He started off in a bad way but has grown to overcome it all. We should all look up to him in amazement. Being one of my closest friends it would be good to put his words into a documentary about him.

Brainstorm 6 Surfing
I wanted to capture more movement, so I thought it would be exciting to video some surfing. I wanted to us a GoPro camera so it would be a first person view. The image I wanted to capture was a surfer in a tunnel of water. Appealing to many individuals in water sports. Just something that I was thinking about.

Brainstorm 5 Drag Racing
This time I would like to capture a drag race, in slow motion. I could achieve this with, I was thinking a DSLR. The vantage point would be up in the stands looking down, so I would need a long distance lens to take close up shots. Then compile the images together for a slide show effect. The audience would be for the male generations. Thought it would be interesting to capture.

Brainstorm 4 zoo attraction
Ive been thinking that everyone like the zoo, well most people. My idea was to conjure up a rare animal and film the expressions of the people who see it. Two cameras would have to be set up, one on the rare animal and the other at head height to capture the expressions of the visitors. Im still trying to figure out what animal, lets say a giant squid was captured and put on display. That would create some wild facial expressions. The target audience would be more for the younger generation. The lighting would be natural sunlight. Let me know what you think.

Brainstorm 3- Bar fight
This time I was thinking about shooting a bar fight. Setting up the camera at the end of the bar should cover the proper angle. I can see the lighting being low with emphasis on a few key points, the start of the fight would be lighted. The targeted audience would be more of the older generation. The fight would start at the end of the bar and move closer to the camera. Just an idea.

Brainstorm 2 Prison Break
For my next idea I was thinking about a prison break. The viewpoint would be from the persons point of view. The excerpt I want to see would be the person picking the lock. Saying that it would be cool to have the setting during the old west. Then it would be the old rustic point of view. The lighting would need to be in low lighting and have a dramatic effect, that way the scene would be more interesting.

Brainstorm 1 Childhood Memory
I thought it would be interesting to recreate a memory from my childhood. Like the first time I rode a bike. But the kicker would be that it wouldn't be from my point of view but instead the bikes. Having a camera positioned on the handlebars would make it have a little different twist. It would have to be early morning or evening when the sun is not the brightest to prevent glare. The location would have to be somewhere that is open away from all the traffic, for me it was the local park that was near by. This would be more for the younger audience because its more of a educational video. Please leave comments and let me know what you think?

Post 1 Intro
Hey I'm Rick, I enjoy media because its a good way to develop my skills as a artist. After graduation I would like to combine my interests in cars and art to create graphic wraps/car wraps. So far the best media I like to work with is a DSLR, I enjoy to capture images with contrasting light (such as sunsets) and its easy to manipulate and change by editing. Making it what you want by using different filters.
